Asus SK8V , worth upgrading to now?

Im looking to upgrade in a few days to the FX 53 range, is it worth upgrading to the Asus SK8V S940 now? or will the 939 version be released soon? As in a week or 2, not a month or 2.
Would there be any differance in performance over the 940 board?

Is the SK8V a decent board to do slight overclock say to FX 55 speeds with the Thermalright SLK HS? Does the multipliers step up in 0.5 or 1 ?
