Seems pretty decent, I have had the original CM 690 for a few years now and it is a good case. I personally think the cable management system in it is terrible and my case is incredibly messy.

Only thing I would change is the game!

    Kalniel,

Thanks for your reply i appreciate it.

In what regards will fsx struggle and how could that be eliminated?

And also, apparently there are very very few pc's that can handle fsx fully maxed out.

    Cheers

It's true - it's just a consequence of the way FSX is made, it's not very efficient and has some odd bottlenecks.

You CPU is a very good one for FSX, so no need to change that, you could improve performance further by getting a more powerful graphics card - people are still seeing improvements by getting a 580, which is just insane - but they also still have the occasional slow down and texture delay. Using an SSD to speed up texture and data loads is another way the experience can be improved.

BUT both of those things are extremely expensive budget killers that only make a slight difference. You already have the 560ti which is a great card and will still give great performance - you just have to play with the options/not go too silly on hi-fidelity add-on packs for FSX.

I think a good game controller would be a good add-on to this.

Re: New build any advice please?

Thanks for replys guys very helpful.

kalniel, Yeah ive heared FSX is all over the place on any system really lol

And with regard to the GPU i cant afford the 580 unfortunatly so for now im stuck with the 560ti, which like you say is still very good , compared to my old gt 220 LOL!

Regarding the SSD, is there any chance you could pop onto scan . co . uk and reccomend me a good SSD which would be good for me?? (cheapest you can lol), Thank you

Besides the language extras, Ultimate is a waste of money.

Maybe but the price difference is only a couple of pounds and why would you go for almost the best when you can have the best for 2-3 extra pounds ?

This is only my personal opinion so please do not

Nice just out of interest, how comes you have the PSU that way around?

I bought this case from Scan the other day, and they say to have it facing downwards as below.
