    Why doesn't Samsung do a Blu-ray writer?

    I love the design of the Samsung Blu-Ray Combo - Blu-ray read and DVD writer:


    But I don't know if it is me being rubbish with Google but I can't find a Blu-ray writer from Samsung.

    off topic but the LG one looks similar and can be picked up sub £70.

    Yes, I've been looking and I'll probably go for the LG.

    The 12x BH12LS30 doesn't seem to be available in the UK yet. Probably not necessary anyway.

    The only reason I like the Samsung is it isn't too busy and the backwards L LED looks good.
