    In 2-3 months...

I'm planning to go for a new graphics card during the summer hols with help from some of the cash from my summer job. However, my knowledge of cards is limited to the current lot, so i was wondering what will be a wise choice closer to that time (Budget £200)?

    Radeon 9800XT (£160-200)

    or

Radeon 9800Pro + Arctic Cooler + Overclock to XT or more. (£110-140)

What have you got at the moment?

Those prices are based on what i think you will get in 2-3 months. Of course i could and probably will be wildly wrong!

BTW could you include a guestimate at prices, not too bothered about anyone wasting time for deals as i can do that myself. just for now i need the general knowledge of the hardware.

If you're keeping the CPU and motherboard then I think a 9800 Pro would be perfect (about £130). If you want, you can save a bit more and upgrade the whole lot, but a 9800 Pro with the rest of your system should last quite a while, especially if you don't mind turning graphics down a bit in the future.
