After seeing all this about Athlon 64, i was thinking of maybe upgrading sometime this summer. At the moment i'm caught between upgrading to an Athlon 64 + Mobo or just getting a new mobo for my P4 (with PCI-Express) and a new PCI-E card.
Any ideas

Hmm, would you say its better than o/cing my P4 2.8?
In the end it will probably be faster, but it may not be cost effective. What you have at the moment is not slow.
I'd probably wait a bit and see how Socket 939 pans out (prices, motherboards, etc.).

Yeah, was looking at the 939 socket 64's and they look good because they are speedy (as all 64's are) and i'll be able to upgrade at a later date
