Looking at getting a 4 port USB 3.0 PCIe x1 card just wondering if there are any major differences between the chipset vendors in compatibility performance and driver wise?
Thanks.

According to the techy guy at Scan there's no difference. On his recommendation I bought the cheapest one and it's great. I can't believe how much faster USB3 is.

Hmmmm on doing some more research it seems there are minor issues with compatibility.

I think I'd want a Renesas μPD720201 or μPD720202 based card or might get a new motherboard with one of these controllers onboard as I'm not sure I can wait for Intel to integrate USB 3.0 into their chipsets if ever.
