Questions about fittings. i hear there are two types of fittings. compression and something else? which one is ideal to use that is more secure?
Also, do people use hose/tube clamps?

general two and barbs and compressions, barbs are just the pointed one with no clips or anything but you shove hose/tubing over it and then put a clamp on normally. Compressions are better, look better and have never leaked on me and are certainly the best option for a newbie as you dont have any real risk of clamping it incorrectly .
They are more expensive though!
compressions it is then
Can i use rotery compressions? ones that have a 45/90 degree rotating angle so that my hose is doesnt bend too much?
Alsom what is the term "hose kinking"? Does that mean hose being bent?
O and, what do i use to clean off the old thermal paste from my cpu and gpu? a piece of cottom with a dab of alchole?

Yeah rotary compressions are fine, i have 2 45degree ones on my gpu and they havent caused any issues just make sure you double check the fittings, i had mine come lose on one part just from tilting the connection, basically just move it all into position and then check all of the connections.
Hose kinking is just that, bending where it actually kinks so like when you bend a straw it bends so much that it is fully closed (or close to it) at certain points, restricting flow which is something you really want to avoid.
To clean off thermalpaste i generally use isoproply alcohol and some cotton buds to wipe it off, obviously let it dry before applying paste but it dries real quick .
You deciding on a tubing size yet?
Yea i have actually ordered the tubes already. this one http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2m-xs...-od-hose-white
1/2 ID ones. 2M should be enough? if not i will just order somemore. A pair of sissors to cut it should do?
2m should be plenty, just remember to measure twice cut once , scissors are what i use so yeah should be alright. I have 1/2" ID 3/4" OD compressions if you want to buy them? I believe i bought them off Gonz0 awhile back and did move to a smaller tubing recently.
They're these :http://www.thewatercoolingshop.co.uk...kel-62151.html
I think theyre silver though, will double check in a bit, also have either 2 or 4 xspc http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-12867.html
Probably looking for £1.50 each for the phobya ones (i believe i paid £2/2.50 each when i got them from gonz0 if he wants to confirm ) and £2 for the xspc as i bought them new.
You decided on anything else apart from the rad ofc ?
damm it. looks like i have to return the radiator just put some warm water in it to test leaks and its leaking
here are some pics showing the leak. its a big one as within minutes all water i added in the radiator is gone.

cheap sh*t m8
buy a thermochill, they do this wierd thing called testing them
i always have used thermochill
Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack
off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
gonz0 dont lie , thermochills always need to be flushed as they tend to have so much crap left in it... XSPC are high end, same quality as TC (they both are EXCELLENT ), sods law that you ended up with a duff one josh . Atleast you found out now!.
Whats scans return/replacement policy like? no fuss etc?
Good basket and price?

edit: Should i avoid EK blocks? http://www.realredraider.com/vbullet...ad.php?t=47617
(my message deleted itself.... ffs, heres the short version)
Ignore redraider hes a stupid little kid that seems to bitch about everything and anything, lies about most things (had a go at mick @ mayhems calling him a scammer etc when he ordered stuff.... lies as mick is a decent bloke!). Not to be racist or anything but to top it off hes American.... need i say more?
EK blocks did have an issue with nickel plating, should have been fixed now as i believe the "en" mentioned means its the fixed version. Id recommend getting the acetal or plexi copper versions though as copper is always going to be solid and theres no performance differences (besides you cant see the underside when its mounted on a cpu...) i have a full copper one and its nice .
Its looking good, how are you planning to mount the pump? just inside the case? might be worth looking for some pad for the pump to sit on as they can produce a lot of vibrations and if your case is anything like mine then it maybe a bit loud till you do .
Dont fancy nabbing my compressions?
So i should go for EN versions then? Dont want to buy an EK block knowing it will need replacing after 2-3months!
i'l be using di-ionised water i gto from halfords.
Will this do? http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-14660.html

O and i decided to get this pump as it comes with the top bit needed to fit a 1/2 ID tube
