Spire WhisperRock IV K7 cooler, biggest Zalman GfX cooler (old Gold type), Passive per chip RAM sinks (CoolerMaster I think), Enermax PSU with 92mm slow fans in (rather than 80mm), Acoustic carpet (not kit, fireproof studio carpet), thats about it. Normally runs about 47C (all with SETI on 24/7) and case is about 35C (its high so the balance of my PC is very tight), although its worth it because sometimes you honestly can't tell its on

no probs with overclocks but have had to stop folding at night on my vapo as the compressor basically becomes a radiator when its under load and very quickly heats my room up to boiling point

my nf7-s @ 240x11 is fine peaking around the low 40's but i had a few stability problems with my ic7 and 2.8e @269fsb,i had a little feel around inside the case only to find the ocz pc4000 was absolutely roasting,i hot-glued a small fan on 5v to the left-hand side of the right stick of ram and all has been well since, both pc's are on h2o

Well the main family computer is an over clocked xp1700 rig, its air cooled with 2 120mm case fans, all the fans are controlled from a fanbus at the front of the unit. The cpu is cooled by a Volcano 9 with the TT smartfan 2 beastie.

Yesterday i ramped the fans up from mininmum to provide extra cooling. I went out, I came back to find all the fans off including the cpu fan, as in disconnected from the bus and the cpu at 85 degrees!

    Why had this happened?

My sister had a headache and the fan noise annoyed her.

    We had words.

for some reason my temos never change that much on warm days, constantly running folding @ home on a 2.53 p4 clocked at 3.1 temps around the 52 mark case at 38 when its cold and running folding it will run about 45 and case 29 but i can't grumble at 52c for a 3.1 running folding on a day like yesterday

My A64 was running sweet @ 49c all evening @ 230Fsb - went down to 43c @ about 23:00 .... think it's going to get much much hotter though ... time to invest in an air-con unit for the room

My XP2100 running at 2.3/2.4GHz (depending) has been hitting 55c full load (on water, usually at 42c) lately. Damn weather, pain in the ass. Might clock it lower as it's starting to heat the room up at night to the point of feeling sick.
