My temps are up to 59c cpu and 37c case.It must have been a hot day lol
mines only at 211mhz as well!!
Mine borked - I've stopped running SETI@Home for now, trying to keep it cosy.
I'm getting a new hestsink later in the week to help, i am NOT backing down the multiplier on this thing!
By the way, I run SETI@Home not to find aliens, but to keep the CPU temp at max - IMO a cpu is gonna prefer being at one temp than contstantly heating/cooling with variable load.
Well my shuttle was idling at 55C rather than its usual 38... not into OCing really.
PS. Been trying to PM you but get this error, so you got an email instead.
"Agent has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space."
P4 was at 50 so i clocked it back to stock.
Pfffft! My athy got to 65 before I flinched, hehe.Quote:

hmm my p4 rig 'beeps' when it gets to hot, which sometimes happens when its running seti/boinc/etc even in the winter, so its just sitting there doing sweet fa with only a mild 800mhz overclock.. my current rig is watercooled so no troubles there, other than the ones which arent heat related (see other thread :() hehe...
Bah, i am actually poor beleive it or not :P so i cant replace things if they go pop . And stop thread stalking me.Quote:

I used to be really into the whole temp thing, but now I not fussed as long as my comps stable that's all that matter to me. I remember my old 1.4 Tbird, that used to run at 72c load in summer  never crashed though :)
but I've either got the balls, <-- that cant be true so it has to be the other reason.
My PC is still as solid as a rock and hasn't flinched at all today, despite my LCD telling me TEMPERATURE WARNING and my LEDs flashing (as I programmed them to do :P ) it runs perfectly at 55/33 CPU/case
yeah, my shuttles been running at 43-44 all week, no matter what fan speed i use :) always does, god knows why
Well my 2100XP system went upto 58/40 but remember thats nearly totally slient, no case fans, no GfX fan etc.
