    Rig Light Colours!

I was just wondering what colours you guys would think would look good in a rig?

(I mean Lights on fans, cable sleeving etc.)

The case is black, (CM ATCS 840) and motherboard black/blue (ASUS P8P67 DELUXE).

    Re: Rig Light Colours!

I personally think that white lighting is rather stylish and actually quite minimalist - not garish or loud. But that's just me

    Re: Rig Light Colours!

It's pretty much a personal choice.

Basic tips I would give is try to stick to one colour through out.

Remember you're working with Light not paint, so primary colours are Red, Green and Blue, and coloured surfaces are coloured because of the absorption and reflection of light frequencies.
What this means is the an object that is blue under normal white light will look black under red light, because it only reflects back blue light frequencies, while the red and green frequencies are absorbed.

If you want additional lights as well as LED fans then, look at LED bar or strip lights instead of CCT (cold cathode tubes) the reason is that CCT's are never the same shade as LED's

One thing you could consider is UV instead of coloured lights

However the ATCS 840 doesn't have a window, so unless you've modded it then you're not going to see any of the lights.

    Thanks for the tips guys.

For that I was thinking of getting an official side panel with a window (from SCAN) or cutting out my own.
