...the Zalman Flower? I've got the copper/aluminium version (CNPS6000-AlCu). I ask since I'm heatsinks and fans aren't exactly my strong point (who am I kidding, nothing's my strong point!) Just how good is at cooling?
Also, if it isn't particularly well suited to overclocking, then are there any other alternatives that you'd recommend? Don't mind a fair amount of noise, but must be good at overclocking.

what is it you are trying to cool with it? it won't handle some of the new high-end processors at all, overclocked or not, and you will struggle overclocking any of the current processors out at the moment

Sorry, forgot I got rid of my specs in my sig! Right now I've got a 1800+ overclocked to 166x11.5 up from 133x11.5. It's doing alright now at about 45C.

The zalman flower is not a good overclocker from experience and I did not like the fan mount on the PCI screw fixing rail making it difficult to add remove PCI cards. I have an Alpha PAL 8045 which is happily cooling my latest PC and is great for a non heat pipe design paired with a variable speed 80mm fan but I think it's now old school technology. These days you have alot more choice and if I was to pick one today it would be a ThermalRight SP-97. Always check with the 'bigger' heatsinks that it doesn't clash with components on your motherboard so have a read of the compatibility listings before you buy.
well, your Zalman is doing better than i would have expected tbh! have you tried pushing it further with the Zalman? personally i wouldn't bother getting a new cooler, for me the extra expense/hassle/noise wouldn't be worth it, at least test the limits of your Zalman first.
i had the all Copper one and i liked it, was quiet and cooled my 2800+ at stock speeds - albeit at high temps [60 celcius]
changed from it to watercooling which has halved the temps - and the chips clocked @ 11.5x200 atm{2.3gig), just testing for stability @ these speeds before i push it to 12x200 (2.4)

my flower seems to be cooling my XP2800 well at stock speeds, not forgetting its so quiet
