Help me buy a Shuttle
Getting sick and tired of my pc, so gonna go with a semi fresh start.
Gonna take all my kit and cram it into a shuttle.
Firstly I want to know what Shuttle I should get?
It needs to fit a A64, I know there is only the one shuttle out atm with this support but is there anything on the horizon?
Next will it handle this lot? and will the 350 watt PSU in there upcoming system fit the system your gonna suggest? :p
Hardware that will be going in :
3200+ possably 3400+
1gb PC3500
ATI 9800 PRO 256MB, soon to be Single slot 6800u
SB Audigy
DVD Burner
1x 36gb Raptor
1x 160gb MAxtor SATA
Will it handle it or will it blow?

Thought you could only fit one HDD in a shuttle

Two by removing the 6in1 card reader or by doing a slight mod inside the case. It'll be a tight fit, but you could throw that in an sn85g4v2 without too many issues.
The 350 will NOT fit in any current model that I know of...they are revamping a few things when they throw that PSU in.
As for any new 64bit contenders in the near future...I wish I knew :(.
The soltek3801 will also fit all your stuff and packs the nforce3 250gb chipset...I just don't know too much about soltek, nor does it appear that it has as great of a following as shuttle. Then again, the same used to be said about amd and intel...and I've been with AMD for years, your guess is as good as mine.

cheers, seems like waiting is the best option to see what Shuttle can bring to the market.
