Worth Selling?

Hey all,

At the moment I am looking to upgrade my PC a little and wondering if it is worth it to put together some of my spare parts in a build to sell. The build I would end up with would probably look like this:

Q6600 @ 2.4 (could be OCed to 3.2)
Asus P5QSE PLUS iP45 S775 MOBO
4GB DDR2 RAM @ 800Mhz
Barracuda 7200.10 320GB HDD
Sapphire Radeon HD 5850
Xclio 3060 PLUS Black Silver Midi Tower Case

So I'm wondering if I were to sell a build like this how much could I expect it to sell for and would it be worth the trouble?

I'm sure it would be worth selling, though "worth" is very subjective. What, as an example, £300 is worth if you've homeless and jobless is very different to what £300 is worth if you're Richard Branson or Roman Abramovich.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised to find you'll raise more selling as components than as a system.


Note - the £300 is a random figure as an example, not an estimate of that system's value.

I'd echo the view to part it out, people looking for a new system don't tend to look for an old spec but there are always people in the know looking for parts.
