Hi,

Has anyone experienced HD failures in SB75G2's (or others)? I have used 2x Maxtor SATA 160GB disks to take advantage of the RAID mirroring. One of the disks failed recently (only 2months old) and will be replaced under warrenty.

When I went to remove the failed disk I noticed that it was in the middle of the DVD/HD/HD sandwich. And it was very hot (scientific hot to touch test)

Could the heat be a contributing factor? Do HD's normally run very hot? How else could you fit 2x HD into a shuttle to avoid this situation, any comments much appreciated.

Mark
