Which now means upgrade time !
So, I have two questions for the learned crowd.
Which 580 ? MSi Frozr ?
Which 24" screen for BF3 ?

Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Big Gigabyte windforce fan here, so I would recommend something like the GV-N580UD-15I. But all 580s are going to be fast....
(Oh and congrats )

Thanks. 6 month contract will take me through to Spring, so Christmas will be OK.

Congrats mate!
Oh goody, the list is endless my friend!
But I love the EVGA stuff, shame the prices are a bit more dearer!
It's (IMO) between an EVGA or MSI, of the two I would go for the MSI twin frozr as a friend has one and I can hardly hear it even when it's going full pelt while gaming, it also keeps the temps at a good level. But, really just go for the best deal you can get between the MSI and the EVGA, I don't think you will be disappointed whichever you choose.
I got one of these BenQ 24" G2420HDBL LED Monitor
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/24-be...dvi-d-monitior
Can't fault it one bit.
I too have that monitor, G2420HDBL, it's pretty good but I recently read in a mag that the colour accuracy isn't great. It can be a bit bright on the red side of the spectrum too.
If I was buying again I would spend the extra on a 120hz monitor or an IPS monitor. It's not bad at the price, though...

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
