    CCTV help

    Hi all

    I want to set up a cctv system from my bedroom looking down onto the front drive and I want my pc to be able to record it.

    Never done anything like this before so unsure want I need hardware of software wise.

    Any advices will be great.

    I haven't used either software but I've got somthing similar planned.

    I would recommend a Vivotek IP camera - they are sometimes quite cheap on eBay. They can save either to your PC's HD (using the supplied software) or to a built in sd card. You can connect directly to it from a browser or even VLC media player.
