    Corsair Vengeance K70

Found this pic. Seems to be the Keyboard a lot of people have been asking for when seeing the K95 but no one I can see has said anything about it.
I personally think it looks really nice and will probably get it when it comes out. No idea about the features though because as I said before no one at
    CES said anything about it!

Strangely the only thing about it I could find online was this http://www.***********.net/articles/..._ttl_edition/1

If you're looking for a basick MX switch keyboard with back lighting then QPAD MK85 but it is in the £90-100 range

    Re: Corsair Vengeance K70

That link doesn't seem to work and I googled the end bit and I think that was a self made back-lit K60 as opposed to this which is an actual product from Corsair.

In the same picture you could see the k95 next to it if it was zoomed out so this was actually on display at CES 2013. (Image below to prove it)

The main reason I didnt get a K65 was because it wasn't full mechanical, no full length wrist rest and no back-lite. From the picture alone 2 of these are clearly

fixed; no idea about full mechanical though. If it is I will be getting it. Whats not to like on a black anodized aluminium chassis with, if the same as the others,

    Cherry MX red switches.

    Re: Corsair Vengeance K70

Sorry the bad link is due to an old feud between hexus and that website, so the name of that site gets
But it looks like you found it and yes, they took the guts from the K90 and stuck it in the K60, to make what was basically a K60 with the backlit switch keys from the K90.
And corsair where interested in it and what people thought about it as a possible new keyboard, so what it looks like is that there was enough interest for corsair to do it themselves.

I'd really like a backlit mechanical keyboard if they weren't so pricey, a lower cost option using the cheaper cherry ML switches would be nice.

    OK, that looks ideal
I liked the K95, but a bit expensive for an impulse buy.

Well if you want a replacement look at the Qpad MK85 same cherry MX switches as every other "gaming" mechanical keyboard.

The Qpad just seems to expensive to me, it doesn't look as high quality as the K90 yet it costs more :/

QPAD is a nasty board imo, I have a ducky they do them in UK layout now.

    Re: Corsair Vengeance K70

Think I will stick with the plan of getting the corsair k70 tbh. going to be like £60 cheaper than that Ducky and I really don't think it justifies that price increase.

Did some delving into the released date issue but every company I ask says its under NDA which suck. Basically we are screwed for information until its released but we have no idea when that is :S

    I've got a k60 and TBH, I think it's amazing.

I have filled it with tea twice and both times it has survived.....with no side-effects

Add to that, it feels great.

now, I won it on hexus so the price-tag wasn't an issue.....so YMMV
