    Lightbulb Water in my PC??

    I have finally gotten fed up with the noise my pc makes, and my temps have have up with the summer heat, so I have decided to go down the watercooling route.

    I think one of the kits from Coolercases would do the trick. Couple of reasons why i want to go down the kit route: it seems cheaper than custom building and also I would imagine it might make getting the right stuff easier, as I am new to this scene.

    Been looking at the Maze4 Specialist II and the ThermoChill Pro. I've set a budget of £150, so they both fall into that category!

    What you think? What are thermalchill like? Also how much would it improve my overclocking abilities? Currently got an AQXEA 2500+ on an Epox 8rda3+ running at 3200+ fsb at 200 with an alpha 8045 H/s.

    Thanks in advance nice people!

    You want quiet water cooling - it HAS to be this:
    http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/...p?idx=63&code=

    P4C 2.4Ghz | Asus P4P800 Deluxe | 2x512Mb GeiL Ultra DDR500 CL2-3-3-6 | Sapphire Radeon 9700 128Mb | Soundblaster 128 | Western Digital 120Gb 7200rpm 8Mb cache
    CoolerMaster Centurion w 2x120mm | Thermaltake 420W PSU
    Iiyama Prolite E435S 17" TFT | Logitech MX510 and Cordless Keyboard | Pioneer DVR109XL (Black) | Labtec Spin 60

    You're forgetting the HEXUS review of it

    The only problem is it's not a w/c kit for overclocking - and does require a monolith of a reservoir to sit next to your box.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Yeah, I have thought about the Reserator, but like kez said, not ideal for overclocking. It does look class though! I would like a good system all in my case, without the need for pipes and rads etc all over my room!

    I've had a bit more of a look after starting this thread, and there is just so much choice! RBX and TDX blocks, low flow and high flow, different pumps etc etc....

    Gonna have sit down and do way more research into all this!

    cheers

    I have just gone watercooled, take your time and plan your system out carefully, so far so good as far as my system is concerned though

    Long before there was a reserator, I built myself a huge passive radiator for exactly the same principle. Silence rather than speed. You can see pictures from the build process here: http://www.sheol.org.uk/watercool/ a search may find the thread with my detailed description.

    Wow, nice job on that system TeePee!

    Well after spending a lot of time searching through different bits and bobs, I think I am going to go with the following...

    Dangerden TDX block (+ nozzles)
    Thermalchill 120.1 rad
    Laing D4 Pump
    Bay Res
    +other compulsery bits

    Anyone here using the TDX block at the moment? The few reviews I've read seem to rate it...

    cheers
