    Advice on upgrade.

Looking to upgrade current system as detailed in sig.

Seems to be a fairly good upgrade in terms of performance. Any issues with it? I'm fairly out of the loop regarding current hardware.

    Re: Advice on upgrade.

I can't say 100% it's without issues but I have a system with those exact same components and so far so good. The system threw a couple of BSODs installing SP1 on Win7 64bit but it survived. It was at 4.4Ghz with 16Gb of RAM as a OC bundle from scan. The OC settings didn't stick and the bios reset itself to stock. I didn't buy it for the OC just the fact it was tested. When I get around to it I'll set the OC to 4.2Ghz and see how that goes. I expect it will be fine.
