I hate to tell you this, but my Qtec PSU has been of better service to me than the 2(yes, 2) £50 Hiper power jobbies I've had in my rig!

I won't diss Qtec. It's not in my nature.

Hi-per have excellent power ratings + voltages, but are notorious for failing

You all know my feelings on Q-tec

I'm going to get the 550W Q-Tec for summer.

You think 550W will be enough to power my BBQ or do you think I will have to wait around for it to burst into flames before I can cook anything. Gold plated so that means its dish washer proof or something.

It must have been a bad batch cos you just can't go around selling things that catch fire. What does Q-Tec have to say for themselves? Looking forward to the Hexus Q-Tec interview already.

These 'Transparent' fans... do they exist??

And if so, being controled by temperature... Do you think they start when they catch fire, or just after?

My qtec 550 is absolutely excellent for £20
Stop modding the fans or overloading them and they wont blow up

Temperature controlled fans - does that mean the fans stop when they melt?

My Qtec never caught on fire - it just couldn't keep any voltage steady under any load. It has been a good source of molex plugs though
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.
