Right in july i found a problem with my xfx 750w pro psu so i sent it back to scan to be tested.
I explained that the fault was intermittent and that if i moved the case sometimes i would power up the pc and all the fans would flash on spin for a millisecond and then nothing and that i was not happy as if there is a loose connection that could blow my pc up. I had an asus motherboard which had already blown some mosfets so was hoping it would be a simple RMA and new psu sent out.
So they tested it not in the way i asked but tested it and found no fault so i asked for a retest and specifically asked for the psu to be removed from the power turned on it side and tested and such. I never recieved another email after that (about 25th july) i moved house and kind of completely forgot about it as i had replaced my psu so i wouldnt be without a pc.
On tuesday i recieved an email saying that if i didnt pay the NFF fee my psu would be binned on the 30th so i phoned up and paid the fee was told £24 but invice says £12 this after paying £12 to send it back to them in july.
Thursday my psu turned up at work so today i opened up my pc and plugged it in with the psu on its side outside of my case and BAM fans light up fans spins for a sec and nothing at all happens if i turn the power off at the back of the psu let the power dissipate and it goes back on again,
So i turned the psu onto its other side gave it a little shake and she works, Obviously i thought this is intermittent so i turned it back over give it a little shake and she doesnt work again. Obviously scans testing was not very thorough as i have managed to replicate my fault 3 times in under 5 minutes,
For those that don't understand what i mean i have uploaded a video of it to youtube link below showing the exact problem.

So Really what can i do about this its clearly got a loose connection somewhere and i am not prepared to use it in my pc as it's pretty high end. So what is my next move i have now incurred the original cost of the psu about £70 plus now £24 in postage costs and The fee for not finding a fault.
Also please guys i DO NOT want this turned into a bash fest about scan i just want some advice on what to do i know they test alot of things and replicating an intermittent fault can be hard but i really would like something done
INcidentally if someone from scan wants to jump in then the RMA number was 249051
