Questions on a New Power Supply.

hello again! Anyways i'm not convinced I need to purchase a new Power Supply. The thing is, this is the only part in my whole computer i've never ever bought before. Soo I was looking on www.pricewatch.com and checking out the psu's. I was finding 550w for as cheap as $14!!! That seems to good to be true. Now this http://www.pricewatch.com/s/b.asp?d=4994755 was one I was looking at and was wondering if it would fit any case besides chieftec? Also. Would it support my Computer (specs below)? Oh and if this is just a real crummy pick, I would be very pleased if you guys knew of a decent $30 and below psu for me. You guys are very helpful and thanks a lot!

A 550W PSU that cheap...I'd be a tad sceptical as to it's build quality/reliability.

A 550W is way more than adequate for your needs & PSU's tend to be pretty universal fitting-wise.
If you can afford a 'known' brand then that's what I'd personally go for. Having said that, if u cant, try it out, it may be a rare cheap but reliable brand. And at least if it is a pile of poop, u haven't lost much cash.

Please dont buy a cheap psu you are very likely to rgeret it. Its the most importan part of your system- you wouldnt put a 1.1 litre engine in a ferarri would you?

550w at that price = 200w genuine rating. That psu has got "i will die and take the rest of your rig with me to the firey depths written all over it"

Something like an antec, thats what you want :)

Id recommend Antec, Enermax if you got money, and CWT, Hiper, Fortron are better value. Im ot sure how much you would expect to pay in the states, but the CWT 350 watter is about £30.
