Rule 18 - No 'interest checks' are allowed. Price Checks may be posted in the applicable HEXUS.HARDWARE section.
That said, getting people's opinion on the value of the item may give you the same information. The reason we don't allow interest checks is because if one member expresses an interest and it subsequently gets sold to someone else it causes all manner of arguments, as you can perhaps imagine.
I looked through those rules as well! What a numpty I am.
Rather than try and get around the system I will get a proper FS thread sorted.
