Global Foundries still loosing AMD money??
It cost AMD $209 million this quarter:

Add the $98 million loss for restructuring and no wonder they are in the red.
It seems they are selling slightly more CPUs now.
Re: Global Foundries still loosing AMD money??
GF has turned out to be a massive money hole for AMD :(
Re: Global Foundries still loosing AMD money??
If the nVidia rumours are to be believed, it looks like they might not be "top-dog" in the GFX market for too long either..
Need moar competition!
Re: Global Foundries still loosing AMD money??
Maybe so but the nvidia rumour mill is so full of complete douche-bags, i dont care what they say.

Aside from Charlie playing around, are there even any nVidia rumours? The lack of rumours suggests they're deliberately not leaking information for some reason.. or things are even more delayed.

I suspect more delayed. <tin foil>It looks a bit cartel-ish when each team gets 6 months on the top of the pile.</tinfoil>
I'd put money on Kepler being properly available from all good retailers from the beginning of April. Or possibly even later.

Nvidia have taken a cheap shot at AMD, saying they thought 7970 would have been better.

But your right, they do seem a tad quiet. Wonder if that is intentional.

If they're not out by Ivy Bridge, I think they will lose quite a bit in sales from new builds then. At least from me :O
