    Fans galore!

Just fiddled with my shuttle (see sig). Cut out back grille and mounted a 120mm fan on an adaptor externally. It is in a push pull configuration with a noiseblocker S4. No undue noise so far and on stress, ie a good game of max payne 2 I got to 45 on the CPU and 40 in the case. These were my idle temps in this hot weather! No undue harmonics sufferred and would seem to work quite well. The other S4 is mounted next to my gfx card and is blowing out. I have one left and wonder if it is worth mounting it on the other side, by the PSU, blowing in. This hopefully would give my chipset a bit more cooling. Will post pics when done.
    Not around too often!

Ha. Recently threw away to 80mm Sunon, chopped out the grille, and mounted a 120mm YS Tech 95 cfm beast out the back via an adapter, running off the 7V molex rail.

40C under load baby! (No quieter than stock though... )
    All effort is useless
