Can the standard PSU handle a 9800pro?

Hey, just wondering about the above really my other specs are in my sig. I am just worried that the overclocked CPU will have a big effect.

    Hi menthal

It should be fine. I know of many people straining their Shuttle systems with all sorts and still running perfectly with a 9800 Pro. Even an x800 Pro should work fine, if you want even more from your graphics card.

    Kind Regards

Thanks guys. Got a 9700 pro 2nd hand instead. Should show some improvement over my old gf4. Installing it will also give me a chance to clean out all of the dust.

And, if you do run into a problem, you can always upgrade your PSU with one of Shuttle's Silent X 250 power supplies...

Please forgive me, slightly off topic, but does anyone know if the forthcoming 300W PSUs in Shuttle's new systems will:
    1. Be sold as accessories
    2. Be compatible with existing Shuttle systems

    Thanks
