Good second hand Laptop needed

Well, my sister has just had hers die on her, so I was wondering - Wheres a good place to look for a re-con/ second hand Laptop. Thing is, money is an issue - She only has around £200 - £250 to spend. She only needs it for simple word documents, doesnt have to be anything big n wonderful. Needs to have floppy and CD drive and work, thats it.

Its it possible to find anything for that price?

I have also been looking for cheap second hand laptops but what I usually find is that the batteries for them are usually not guaranteed to hold charge and considering the age of most of the laptops I would doubt that they would have hold charge for long. Would this be a problem for your sister?

Thx for the reply. Well.. not really. She'll be working from home with it mostly using an adaptor I guess. The one she had before was pretty old anyways, and im guessing the battery on that was poor as well.

As long as the laptop works and has life in it is all that really matters. I dont wont to be looking for another one in a few months time

Is there any good sites to look at?
