    Question Picking a new mouse.

My current mouse (sharkoon fireglider) has just started dieing after a year with a case of unreliable scroll wheel, I think i may just have to put it down
So i need to replace it. I have been looking at 2 in particular but recently a new contender has appeared. They are the following the Corsair m60(£43-£50),
the Cyborg R.A.T. 7 (£65) and the CM storm inferno(£36).

Does anyone have an opinion an any of these or a suggestion on what i should get?

Currently using the m60. Fantastic mouse IMO. It's a bit smaller then most mice I've had, so if you like the feel of a larger mouse it probably won't be for you.

    Re: Picking a new mouse.

A friend of mine really likes the RAT7, however it's each to their own with this sort of things. See if you can get to a shop that lets you try them, if not then at least pcworld/currys to see how they fit in your hand.

    Re: Picking a new mouse.

I have been trying to look for demo mice i can find, and so far disappointingly the only place i have seen them is PC world. While there the only one they had that i was at all interested in was the rat 7. Although it felt pretty good it doesn't really feel like a fair test >.>

Yes, that's why I recommended the G400 (Don't have experience of the others, but can recommend that one based on experience. I have medium hands and still claw it)

    Re: Picking a new mouse.

Also, I suspect that if your Logitech mouse dies after a year they'll replace it for you. Their customer support is the best of any company I've used.

On that note, have you tried contacting Sharkoon? You never know.

    Re: Picking a new mouse.

If you liked the Sharkoon try a Razer DeathAdder. The shape is almost identical, weight is similar depending on how many weights you had in the Sharkoon. I switched between them at Xmas (my Sharkoon had developed a horrible rattle) and it took hardly any getting used to.
