    I've only gone and Papst myself !!!! honest

    Well swopped all my case fans for nice quiet papst beautys. I can't believe how little noise there is now.I now have 1x120mm blowing on my hs.1x92mm in a side blowhole aimed at my hd,2x80mm on the front blowing air in and a 92mm on the back as an exhaust.I tried a 80mm and a 92mm on the hs but the 120mm keeps it coolest.My temps have come down from 57-58c with the 80mm fan to 42-44c with the massive 120mm.Best of all is the lack of noise.I can even hear my tinnitus now over the fans.Even the wife complimented how quiet it has become as she didn't even realise the pc was switched on.
    Long may it last.Nice that something worked out for a change.Well almost but thats another "please help me" post yet to come lol

    It was certainly worth paying a few quid extra for them. The 120mm's are big monsters. The size of them scares me!! It covers half my mobo as well so it'll help cool that down nicely as well. papst !!!!!!

    The fan's on a zalman fan bracket over a Thermalright sk-7 hs.Could maybe do with a slk-800.Don't fancy the slk-900 as you have to take your mobo out to install it.

    Strangely I wasn't that shocked when I got a 120mm fan. It was 120mm in size... just as I expected

    Big fans rock - they cool a lot, and can do it quietly if you get the right ones.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
