New HTPC build - 3d bluray & madvr ?
My current HTPC isn't powerful enough to handle madvr, so am contemplating going back to a micro atx setup from mini itx.
Thinking of using :
Silverstone GD04/GD05 Case
PSU ?
Nvidia GPU that is HDMI 1.4a for 3d playback
8GB DDR3 RAM
Intel CPU & Motherboard ?
intel SSD as boot drive
2-4 TB SATA HDD Green Drive for storage
Liteon Bluray burner
Any thoughts greatly appreciated

You could have got an FM1 mini-ITX motherboard and a Llano CPU for around the same price as the E450 motherboard you bought.

Yeah, but wanted to try the e450 to see if it was any good. At that time hadn't really done much tinkering with madvr & the like

Here are my suggestions for an HTPC:

For an Intel CPU I suspect one of the Celeron or Pentium dual cores with a discrete card should be enough.
Edit!!
The prices have changed someone with the A6-3500 being around £56 on Scan now.
