Take the following ingredients :
SN45G
Mobile 2500+
80mm Mechatronics Fan
Diehard Overclocker
And what do you get?
This is with the case lid on
what ram you using?Get the multipier down to 10 and raise your fsb dude. You know it makes sense.Great stuff !!! but what's your temps like?
Farts are like children.....You always love you're Own.!!!
Wise Men learn from Other people's mistake's...Fool's learn from their OWN.!!!
Unfortunatly the FSB wont go much higher, prolly due to the passive heatsink on there, when I get better ventalation through mesh side panels ill add a fan to the northbridge and give it another go.
Anyone know if the mesh on the sides will make the PC unstable at all? I remember talk with the perspex cases that because it wasnt EMI sheilded it could cause probs?
Wouldn't have thought it would, the Shuttle RefleXion has mesh on the side panels (no completley though) and that runs fine, Shuttle wouldn't sell it otherwise!Originally Posted by Platinum
Im more and more being convinced to get a mobile chip
what temps was that mate
If that were true you wouldn't be able to run a computer caseless, would you now?Originally Posted by Platinum
The point of EMI shielding is not to keep the computer stable.
Rich :¬)
Mine ran at 2500mhz at 1.65 until hot weather. Now as sig below!
Not around too often!
dont expect the chipset to last long. You need some airflow on that thing if your going past 200, lets hope your still at stock voltage (1.4-1.5).
Very nice.
What Chipset temps are you getting (if you know)?
is this level of overclocking still possible on the newer shuttle models?
