    Question 250GB Exernal Drive

Im looking to buy a large external FW/USB2 HDD.
Either the Maxtor Onetouch 250 or the LaCie 250

    Anyone recommend either? Or alternatives.

    Thanks
    AJ

In our flat we've got 2 Lacies, a firewire one and a firewire+USB2 one- not had any problems with it, the casing is also very nice.

Not used external drives much at all... but from what I've seen earlier LaCie has always looked good.
Light travels faster than sound. Is this why some people appear bright until you hear them speak?

LaCie; we have a 500GB at work for backup purposes. I highly recommend getting the FireWire 800 card to go with it if you'll be doing large transfers.

Maxtor, simply because of their excellent after sales support.
If somthing does go wrong, i like to know its going to be sorted yesterday.
