    anyone with a 10w and 18w DDC pump ?

random question time, i have 2 18w in use but the chipset blocks restrict the flow more than i like, what i want to do is stick a 3rd pump in but this will not be part of the koolance TMS controlled setup so i need a quiet pump from the onset.

wondering if anyone has both the above pumps in use and can tell me the max rpm flat out and if the 10w is quiet compared to the 18w?

Mines a 10w modded to 18w version and it's quiet. (Well to my mind anyway). the guide to show you how to do this quotes the max rpm's as that's how you know it's worked. I'll see if i can find it on Google and post the figs.

Not the guide I originally used but it works

DDC 3.1 impeller speed: aprx. 3900RPM
    DDC 3.1 modded/ DDC 3.2 impeller speed: aprx. 4500RPM
