    The new Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 - an AM3+ 970 motherboard for only around £50!

    I just saw this new motherboard for around £50 on Scan:

    A few other retails have it for around £55.

    For the price the motherboard is very well specified. It has the latest 970 chipset,USB3.0,SATA3.0 and all solid capacitors:

    Not a good board if you plan on overclocking though. Only a 4+1 phase VRM, with no cooling. Otherwise it's an absolute bargain for the price!

    I just got one to replace a motherboard that has died so will see how it overclocks and runs this weekend. Might see if I have something to put on the vrm to help with cooling.

    This is a very good board for the price, USB 3.0 and SATA 3 on a £50 board. Bargain.
