    ASRock Z77 Fatal1ty Pro - Installing Drivers = Freezing!

    Hey,

I've just done a fresh Windows 7 install and I'm installing the Driver CD that came with my motherboard but once the disk gets to installing the LAN Driver it just freezes and then I loose all functionality of my PC and need to hold the power button down to shut the PC off. I've tried installing Windows several times but the exact same problem is happening every time, If I reboot my PC after the crash with the Driver disk still in the drive it starts back where it froze and freezes again within seconds, the same goes for when I boot up the system normally and then insert the disk....... does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be because I've had nothing but trouble with this motherboard/system and I'm really starting to get ticked off!

BIOS is fully up to date and I can't download the LAN Driver and put it on to a UBS stick to install from because I get an error when trying to do that (Error code -36). Also the PC in question doesn't have any internet access (no drivers to connect to the internet).

    Thanks for your help though

I'm doing another Windows 7 install now to see if that can fix the problem.

Try Formatting the Usb to Fat32 or if its fat32 try ntfs there is no reason why you wouldnt be able 2 download the corisponding drivers for you Lan and pop them on your usb rele hope some of this works for you man if not id return the board and get a new one or a refund :|
