    Price check

Found out that i destroyed my old motherboard when changing thermal paste on the NB/SB (crap stuff was on there, must have dislodged the chip during removal!).

Looking to salvage as much as i can so what do you reckon i could get for the following:

    E8400(socket 775)
    2x2gb DDR2 Crucial ballastic 800mhz(pc6400), cas 4
    old xclio 700w
Brand new warranty replacement Seagate 500gb (only used in system and found out my mobo died!)

Hoping it hasnt lost so much value that i may as well bin it all!.

    Re: Price check

    E8400(socket 775) = £40
    2x2gb DDR2 Crucial ballastic 800mhz(pc6400), cas 4 = £20
    old xclio 700w = £20
Brand new warranty replacement Seagate 500gb (only used in system and found out my mobo died!) = £30

So give it a total value of about: £110

    Re: Price check

Interesting how you put 40 quid on 4GB of 5300 and only 20 quid on the 6400

Hicks, may I get first refusal on RAM if you're selling separately ?

    Re: Price check

I think ill keep to PSU as a backup, i would be looking at splitting . Had a quick look on the bay and seems a few of the ballastixs selling for £30, going by that i think id let them go for £25 delivered.

I will be adding to my sales thread now, if your happy to have dibs on them at that price then i will reserve it (i will still put in the sales thread for now but not for sale).

Also on the bay the e8400 seems to sell for ~£50 so the £40 estimate is probably about right . Will be adding that to my sale thread as well, certainly worth selling at those prices... almost covers my new earphones!.
