My watercooled shuttle (56k keep away)

Here is a picture of my poor unsuspecting shuttle before commencement of my project.

The temperatures were ok, not groundshaking but better then the ICE cooler. But I thought this could be improved by moving the radiator away from the rear of the case. Then I thought why go for half measures when i could whack a larger rad on there too? So with the purchase of a Black Ice Radiator (Thanks Bruno :bowdown: ) we get this:

Temps are good but the little pump is limiting and is going to be upgraded at some time in the near future.

no need really, this black ice does the job very nicely.

But a bigger pump is definately on my shopping list

What we're the temperatures like with just the inital kit? And where did you get it?

just to note that after 15mins I turned TOAST off to see how quickly temps dropped back to idle

Seriously though thats excellent. If it ever gets hot again :( the extra cooling will help keep things stable and as far as modding goes it looks great to :)

crap watercooling kit... i reviewed one the other month back... wasnt impressed with it.

i did think how easy it would be to install one to a shuttle but decided it was crap kit, and i wasnt going to disturb my shuttle to install the crap.

It gets the job done, as I said the pump is a limiting factor with the larger rad but a nice eheim 1250/1048 will fix that.

The temps are better than the ICE cooler will full load never exceeding 43 degrees and this with a pump that can push 32gpm, the 1048 pushes 132gpm

I think you'd easily be fine with a 1046 with that kit, chap. looks nice :>
