I don't see why not, unless they have hardware firmware which deactivates the competitors sticks when installed!! :p
Both companies would try to discourage you from mixing sticks, but there really shouldn't be any problem. So long as they both run at the same timings and voltages..
Ta very much :)
I am pretty sure they're 2.1v, possible 2V but i dont recall having issues running them at 1.9v.
I will have a look tonight when i get home from work :).
ta :)
My old DDR2 RAM had very tight timings so it ran at 2.1v.
G8ina i had a look and they are rated for 800mhz @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2.0V, if i recall correctly 2.1 was the norm for ddr2 and im fairly confident these ran at 1.95v easily for me! What voltage ratings are your sticks currently?
They are running at 1.89v set by the bios automatically. The other thing is for me to check if the XMS will run at 2.0 or 2.1 v... Thanks for bearing with me buddy :)
All sorted, I ran my own Corsair at 2.0v and it's fine.
