Hi guys
Intel Q6700 (no idea chipset) on a board, rock solid, need new HDD
WD 2tb Green drive, SATA 3.
Chances of instant win? Will it all be compatible? Should be, shouldn't it? ... but what's the % chance?
90%+

The only issues I've experienced first hand are with MAXTOR SATA 1 drives as they sent a too long timeout request and appeared to hang to the SATA controllers on the motherboard.
Yup, no compatibility issues experienced here in a similar situation (albeit with a SATA3 SSD)
I've got a P35 based motherboard. 1 WD green 2TB SATA3 HDD and 0 problems.
Works nicely with the Intel SSD 320 as well
