Asus Xonar D2X loose floppy connection
So I've read about briefly and it seems that these cards can have poorly dimensioned/designed 4pin floppy connector saddles, resulting in minor knocks moving the pin connection and killing the power to the card, thus meaning you have to faff about moving it back into place.
This is apparently evident on my card (a week later!) after changing my speaker setup - from what appears to be me moving the card whilst plugging in the 3.55mm jacks. Ive changed the cable to a different set of 4-pin floppy power cables but this has made no difference.
I was wondering if anyone knows a feasible remedy, otherwise I may have to get into contact with Scan to see what they think.

A small piece of blutac flattened on the bottom of the floppy connector.
