Mayhems pastel liquid, anyone use it?

Just wanting to know how durable it is and how well it performs, I really want the mayhems aurora as it looks awesome but, having looked it up it seems it can separate out if your loop has places where flow moves slowly and isn't exactly a long term solution, and as I have a large crossflow rad I can see it all collecting in there

Re: Mayhems pastel liquid, anyone use it?

I have both pastel and aurora, always used distilled water before hand and i cant tell you if temps are better or not but i can tell you that it hasnt gone higher, its still very chilly here . I havent tried the aurora, its still waiting to be used (i preordered both for some reason!), i went for a rather boring and odd pastel white(it looks good but still white just looks a bit odd, not sure why, the colour isnt off at all though).

Had no issue with flow, running the following:
    XSPC RX360 + RS240
EK Supreme HF CPU and VGA blocks
XSPC dual bay dual ddc res
2x 18w ddc pumps (think one maybe 10)

I run only one pump on at 8v, and i think it may actually be a 10w version (blagged it off specialtech, asked if they had a crap one to sell me , very cheap and very quiet). No need to run them faster, no issues .

Oh and it was really good for leak testing, i would never have noticed a couple with water! in very odd places , glad i had it though as it was all sorted on the spot .

Im not sure how your crossflow would work/hinder the aurora tbh, best drop Mick(owner of mayhems) a PM, hes frequently on specialtechs forums.

Re: Mayhems pastel liquid, anyone use it?

Well my crossflow has larger tubing in the finned area, and as the water only passes through it in one direction with the same amount of tubes as a regular rad, I would guestimate that the speed of the liquid is about 1/3rd the speed it would be with regular sized tubing at best half the speed it would in a regular rad, not to mention that the end tanks are more than twice the size of any other rad I have had so plenty of places for it to settle out add to that I have a phobya dual bay res with a large capacity I don't think the aurora would work for me despite how nice it would look.

Besides looking at it I am thinking that the raspberry purple pastel looks lush
