    What is USB2.0 Turning?

In the BIOS, either enabled or disabled? I have a K7NCR18D-PRO II nForce II Ultra 400.

    Cheers

That's new to me, and it's not in Adrian's guide either.

Its not the capability for the usb2.0 sockets to "downturn?" to usb1.1 ones is it?. Backwards compatability ?

I'm not sure, I think that's built into the USB2.0 standard rather than an optional setting.

Nope TiG, nice try but that option is elsewhere in the CMOS setup. I thought I was the only one who didnt know what this was and expected to get a flood of responses telling me what it is.

If anyone knows someone on this forum will:

Just be patient and wait for a response now, Iced is my old old old Alias, i thought i'd post for you saving you the trouble of registering although for future nForce related issues it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Thanks LayZeh for your help. I'm already a member funnily enough.

    Hmm edit:

Yea, I posted in your thread asking the same, then I scrolled down a few threads and found this.

Well, that post seems to back up what TiG is saying, probably makes it backward compatible. If someone has an old USB 1.1 device they could try disabling it and trying their USB 1.1 device.
Other than that I have no clue what it does, as many others.

Perhaps it does solve compatibility problems with older 1.1 devices, but there is already an option in the BIOS for changing between 1.1 and 2.0.

Maybe its to do with timings or the way the port is addressed. At least we now sort of know.
