    Can you quieten Vantec Tornado?

Jus got one of these babies and it is the most uberloud thing i've ever heard.
Slapped a Zalman fanmate on it and there is absolutely no difference whatsoever.
Has anyone managed to quieten one of these to a sensible level or is it simply impossible?

    **edit
Stupid. Of course a fanmate makes no difference as its running off a molex

I don't mind it at that setting as I can just slap the headphones on but if the missus is in the room I get a slap
So I need a girlfriend friendly solution.
