Gaming pc limited budget help!
Hi,
Uhm iam a total noob when it comes to Pc specs ( i don't really know what's good for what. ). My dad adviced against building a pc, because he thought that there'd be too big a chance that something might get broken.
So this is basically what i want:
Pc
Monitor ( not fully necassary, but prefered )
Keyboard
Purpose:
Gaming (specifically Skyrim )
Software: Microsoft ( preferably windows 7 )
No mouse needed ( already have one )
This is my budget £400 is there anything decent i can get for that? Also is building your own pc really that difficult? I personally don't mind building one myself. What are my options and is there anything specific i should be looking for? Iam generally good with electronics and engineering ( i fix stuf at home ).
Any reply is welcome thanks in advance!

hiya
first off.. welcome
secondly.. starting in the Wanted forum is wrong place to start for advice. I'm not going to allow you to start buying stuff from these guys until you hae at least grasped how hard this might be.
So .. this thread is being moved to the HARDWARE forum where people can advise you on items to look for.

Re: Gaming pc limited budget help!
Building a PC is really easy. You just plug things in really.
For a £400 budget I would try and recycle all the bits I could get my hands on. Keyboards and small monitors are practically free; look on ebay by distance and do a pickup if you can for things like cases which will save quite a lot of cash. Would you have an pld PC you can cannabalise? You can upgrade as you go.
W7 is going to be about £70.
Re: Gaming pc limited budget help!
I have a free case now. But you'd have to come and pick it up, it's not worth posting big steel boxes.
I'd suggest something around an i3 and a 6850.
