    Boot to Black Screen Sometimes

    Hi guys,

I have a slightly strange problem with my machine. Sometimes when I turn it on, I just get a black screen. I can then hold down the power button to turn it off, and the next time I turn it on everything is absolutely fine.

Any ideas what's wrong as this is slightly annoying?

    Thanks

Have you tried memtest on the RAM?

PSU wise, I've never actually heard of Chill Innovation before.

I had a similar issue, i've got a i5-760, gigabyte p55 ud3. Had an issue with the ram slots, try moving the ram into different slots if you can, or going to the minimum possible config (1 stick of your ram) in different slots. Maybe try non xmp profile on your ram too.
