It looks like Trinity is going to be another win on the graphics side for AMD!!

Llano also seems to have better overall battery life when playing videos or games,ie,it seems the IGP is more energy efficient:

Considering the much faster Intel CPU and the use of 22NM finfets,it does not seem that great a result IMHO,especially with the E1 stepping having a larger IGP.

Hmm.. im not convinced by IB, think i will grab a SB as i intend to overclock it and from the reviews i've seen (correct me if im wrong?) SB outperforms IB after overclocking/temps are applied.

I might have missed it as im doing 10 things at once, but did they announce an availability date?

TBH,I think I would pick up a Core i5 2500K unless you really need the improved Quick Sync.

At stock clockspeeds the performance is slightly better than a Core i5 2500K.

However,the Core i5 2500K tends to overclock further and does not run as hot it seems.

It seems the Llano laptop had 1333MHZ RAM in a 4GB+2GB layout and the IB laptop had 1600MHZ RAM in a 4GB+4GB layout. It looks like the HD4000 probably is slower overall than the HD6620G and consumes more power too.

Thanks, I will probably end up ordering a 2500k as i cant see the benifit in paying more (99.999% sure they will cost more) for a feature or two i wont use and worst performance in what i would be using it for.

p.s, what e-tailers do you any of you uk guys use?

Not really it does exactly what it says on the tin, its a tock not a tick so simply a refined version nothing more, using a old T9300 its looking very appealing, the only reason to go for anything SB is over clocking or price.
