Need a new Keyboard and Mouse Wireless (£45)

Im looking for a new Wirless Keyboard and Mouse up-to £45 for both. I know this is a tight budget for what but im hoping i can get what i need within this range.

Keyboard: I have a wired apple keyboard Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, however its past the warranty and the space bar is now broken, forcing me to smash it with my thumb to get it to type the space. I have tried all remedies of trying to fix it myself but have noticed that its actually the membrane underneath that is ripped.
I would love a keyboard as close to the feel and style of this, the numeric keypad does not bother me as i rarely use it. Black if possible, and Wireless

Mouse: I have been using the same Logitech VX Revolution mouse for the last 5 or 6 years now, however it has finally given up on me, and it is no longer in production, for the mouse i would like for it to be ergonomic and wireless of course...however the biggest requirement for me is that it has a 4way scroll wheel/tilt scroll wheel, where the side movement actions of the wheel can be programmed to a different function other than side scrolling.

I have tried searching Google for days now and even bought a replacement keyboard that i thought might be like the apple keyboard Genius Slimstar I220, however i find this keyboard horrible and the mechanism under the keyboard is not the same as the apple keyboard

I know what i ask is alot, but i figured before i give up looking i might aswell ask on here as i know some of you would know where to look.

If your open to using eBay then you can pick up an "old" new apple wired keyboard for fairly cheap. TBH I'm sure I have a wired apple keyboard and mouse kicking about somewhere, i'll get back to you...

Re: Need a new Keyboard and Mouse Wireless (£45)

I've had a little look at the HP Elite v2 and it looks very nice although expensive (£79 on some sites). There is one on Amazon "used" for £25 + £4 delivery, not ideal I know but might be the best you’re going to get without importing one.... and then you need to remember import tax plus the shippers brokerage charge for paying the duty to get it through customs which might make a "cheap import" somewhat expensive.

Re: Need a new Keyboard and Mouse Wireless (£45)

That's the first version, still o bad I've tried that one out.

I'm thinking I might tryout the microsoft arc keyoard, will try it I store first, however the oly thing that worries me is the directional keys. That being said though, I tend o find myself using directional keys alot less.

Still need to find a ood ergonomic mouse that allows scroll wheel tilt customizaion

Re: Need a new Keyboard and Mouse Wireless (£45)

okay, so i tired the Microsoft arc today, and i realized that as i do actually do quite a bit of spreadsheet work and do use the directional keys a fair bit more than i realized its not going to be right for me.

The main problem with the keyboard is the touch feel of the keys, I've realized the type of mechanism i want from the keyboard is called scissor-switch. does anyone have any low budget wireless recommendations for this style keyboard.

On that kind of budget I would be inclined to consider second hand or keep an eagle eye on HotUKdeals
