HTPC Acer Revo RL70 xbmcbuntu
My PCH C-200 died this weekend, PSU went pop. I have been thinking about upgrading for a while so now is the time.
I have done some research and i'm looking at getting a Acer Revo RL70 running XBMCbuntu.
Ideally i want to use it as a HTPC PVR, but i don't know if i should go for the optional in-built DVB-T TV Tuner. I can't find any information on the tuner, and i don't know if it works with XBMCbuntu.
Has anyone got one of these with the in-built tuner running XBMCbuntu? If so what experience have you had with it and how well does it handle full HD content?
Thanks.

I didn't think XBMC could do live TV?
Re: HTPC Acer Revo RL70 xbmcbuntu
Well i purchased the RL70 and i have got it setup as a PVR using the PulseEight package and TVHeadend but using the PlayTV (PS3) usb tuner and NOT the in-built tuner that comes with the RL70. I was unable to get the in-built tuner to work at all under Linux not matter what drivers i tried. The PlayTV works very well.
So if anyone is considering buying a RL70 for a dedicated XBMCbuntu box i would recommend buying the cheaper linux version with no in built tuner or blu-ray drive. While the optical drive is handy for ease of installation, and playing DVD's, blu-ray playback is very tricky (not impossible). The in-built tuner isn't from what i can tell supported on linux.
Also highly recommend the HDMI-CEC adapter from PulseEight, which allows you to use your stanard TV remote, using BraviaLink or Anynet+, whichever flavour your TV supports. I wasn't able to use the bundled windows MCE remote which came with the RL70, so this was a must have.
