    xp-1600m limits?

    guys a quick reply and a wee bit of advice would help here, lol im 90% sure about buying this cpu on this forum i know, its meanmt to do 2.4 the guy can get out of it, i have a a7v8x-x mobo, that goes up to 200fsb, and a lot in th multiplier with a max of 1.8volts, and great cooling, a volcano 11+ with hardcano 12 , what do u think is the most i can get out of this?

    You should be able to get 2.4 out of it. What cooling is he running on it atm? You would need to be running it at 200x12 or something lower hopefully .

    Tested it up to 2.4 (12x200) at 1.75v

    ^^ thats wot he says, but will this reach 2.5ghz that wot i need to go ahead and buy it? any ideas shogun? or ne1?

    2.4gig seems to be a common overclock, and for the price, its brilliant 2.5/6 on water maybe that woulkd probably be the limit at about 2v

    not bad, i was jsut wondering if 1.8v (the extra half a volt) would maybe get it up to 2.5gh cos i have great air cooling, and funds dont allow a water solution yet , lol

    It should do, since an extra .05v is still a bit by cpu standards.
