    KT7A-RAID help

    Hi Guys,

    I have the board above and am trying to get a system set up. Specs are listed here:

    1.3 Tbird
    512Mb PC133
    ATI rage video card
    Thermaltake volcano 12

    All I get on boot up (Fans spin etc..) is a prolonged beep after which the board shuts down before getting to the post screen.

    Have tried with various combinations of hardware in/out but am now a bit stuck as to what to do to get this going.

    Any Ideas as to what I could try?

    Cheers

    But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
    I have spread my dreams under your feet;
    Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

    1 long beep means something wrong with the cpu, so best to remove it and put it back in and try again.

    opps correction.. its when the motherboard does not detect the cpu fan (plugged in Fan1) and shuts the pc down.
